5 Health Apps You’ll Love


I will fully admit that I’m addicted to apps. I don’t have a thousands, but I do have a treasured collection of carefully curated apps that I just adore. I’m a sucker for a well designed, pretty app that makes me feel good using it. So today, I wanted to share my top 5 favorite health apps that I think you’ll love to!

1) MyFitnessPal

You may already have this on your phone, and if so, they you know how awesome it is! It is a calorie counting, food journal to help you on your fitness journey. Track your nutrition, exercise, and water intake to help reach your goals for the day. I use it almost daily. It was instrumental in helping me lose some weight before my wedding last year. The database is HUGE so includes most of the good you’d encounter at home or out at restaurants. And if you can’t find it, you can always add it!

2) 5K Runner

I’ve never been a runner, or anything close to it. I used to fail gym class on purpose just so I wouldn’t have to run the mile. Bleh! But I live right across from a beautiful trail, with beautiful people always running on it. So I thought, ok maybe I can do that! Enter 5K Runner app! I ADORE this app! It uses an interval system to slowly build your stamina so you can run for longer and faster. While I’m still not a marathoner by any means, I actually enjoy going for run and that’s huge for me! Best part is, it works with your music apps so you can jam while you run!

3)  Squats 0-100


This app is from the same folks that did 5K Runner, they have a few work series’ like this and Squats is my favorite. Same concept as before, slowly build up to doing more and more until your booty is awesome! I usually do these right after my run so I get that extra burn!

4) Clue

Ok don’t laugh. But I totally LOVE my period tracker app, Clue. I’ve tried a few others and they just aren’t pretty. But this app is GORGEOUSLY designed and makes me happy to track such a not so glamorous event in my life haha! I don’t use all the functions really, I mean, I don’t really need to remember my fluid (ew), but I love keeping track of my cycles and knowing exactly when to expect the next one. It’s great for anyone trying to conceive too as it’ll show your fertile window. I know, I know, no one wants to talk about this one but seriously, just look at how pretty it is!

5) Headspace

This is another pretty app that makes me feel great. It’s not just about apps for your body, you have to take care of your mind too! This app guides you through mini meditation sessions to help you focus, relax or just be happier. I find it super helpful with my anxiety and restlessness at night. I started using it right before bed and find I’m asleep even before the 10 minutes are up! I highly recommend if you’ve ever been interested in meditation but have no idea how to start on your own.
