The day to shower our moms with love is approaching! If you’re still looking for inspiration, we’ve assorted a collection of Mothers Day gifts she’ll love!
We may celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday, but really every day should be Mother’s Day! However, I suppose it would be hard to shower our moms with gifts throughout the whole year. So they unfortunately have to settle for one day. We may never be able to repay our moms for everything they have done throughout the years, but finding something that can express even a hint of our gratitude is worthwhile. As always, that’s easier said than done! But here are some classic Mother’s Day gift options and unique handmade, creative finds that might step up to the challenge of being the right gift.
First of all, for a Mother’s Day gift classic, jewelry is always a great option. But I’d rather ignore all of the fancy, pricey commercials from so-and-so jewelry stores and look to more unique pieces that shout “I love you mom!” or “That’s my momma!”
Of course, Etsy is a great place to look for handmade, one-of-a-kind jewelry just for Mother’s Day. And you can spend hours and hours searching through the thousands of pages of possibilities. But I’ll simplify some of your search and introduce you to some jewelry options here!
One of my favorite finds is the personalized Pea-in-a-Pod Necklace by Modern Expression. Not only is it truly adorable, but you can also personalize the necklace with either your and your siblings’ initials or your mom’s. Modern Expression has plenty of other options for Mother’s Day gifts too. So I’m sure there’s something for everyone!
If you’re set on finding jewelry that would suit mom, we’ve got a great selection at Repeat Possessions too!
Bama + Ry has introduced a number of custom-made necklaces to Repeat Possessions. If your mom loves coffee or running or hails from California, these pieces of jewelry might be just what you need to bring a big smile her way!
But if these necklaces don’t quite embody the essence of your mom, take a look at some of our other jewelry collections. This Mother’s Day we are also running a special discount on all jewelry. Get 25% off with the code: ilovemom!
Now setting jewelry aside, another great classic Mother’s Day gift would be none other than a fabulous DIY project! There are tons and tons of different DIY projects out there, some more extravagant than others. I’ve come across many ideas in my search for an awesome craft idea for my mom, but I’ll narrow it done to a couple here!
The Cottage Mama has a super cute, easy and inexpensive project: Handmade Tile Coasters! All you need are square tiles from your local hardware store, felt, Mod Podge, a sponge brush, and clear acrylic sealer to make your tiles water resistant. Lindsay Wilkes, the owner and designer of The Cottage Mama, uses scrapbook paper in her tutorial. But I think old family photographs would make the coasters an especially wonderful Mother’s Day gift!
The Shanty Sisters of Shanty 2 Chic have also come up with a simple, but endearing DIY Mother’s Day gift that would be great for the house or the office. Their sentimental photo holder with free printables consists of a simple wooden board, furniture nails, some clips, and a couple of cherished photographs. A simple combination that leaves a big impression!
DIY possibilities are endless! As are options for Mothers Day gifts! But perhaps all our moms really want is some rest and relaxation. After all they do the World’s Toughest Job!
If R&R would be the perfect gift for your mom, might I steer you to an oh so comfortable T-Party Sweatsuit?
Also, if you really have run out of time, you can always send a gift certificate from Repeat Possessions! They can be emailed on the same day and you can select any amount between $15 and $500.
I hope that you and your mom will have a wonderfully, happy Mother’s Day! If you haven’t entered Repeat Possessions’ annual Mother’s Day Photo Contest yet, check our blog article, here, for details on how you can participate and win two Nikibiki Seamless Signature Camisoles for you and your mom!
