6 More DIY Halloween Costumes

Earlier this week, we shared part 1 of our 3 part series on DIY Halloween Costumes. We’re big fans of costumes made up from clothes that fit seamlessly into your closet…so we’ve created these DIY Halloween costumes that can be made from the collection of clothes at RepeatPossessions.com with just a few inexpensive accessories or makeup. Here are 6 more DIY Halloween Costumes with #7 – #12

7. 90’s Grunge

Get the Look:
Faded Ombre Boyfriend Flannel
Etienne Marcel Destroy Skinny Jeans
Gold Aviator Sunglasses
Doc Martins

How to Commit to the Costume:
In preparation for your 90’s grunge rocker influenced look, I suggest taking a weekend to watch influential 90’s movies complete with a cast that fits the part. The list of movies should include Empire Records, Clerks, Singles, and Airheads. You’ll also want to channel your inner Gen X mentality and be very against “the man”.

8. Zebra

Get the Look:
Nikibiki Seamless Off the Shoulder Top
T-Party Zebra Print Metallic Leggings
Zebra Eye Makeup
Zebra Style FauxHawk Braid

How to Commit to the Costume:
I mean this one’s pretty obvious what you are but if you really want to channel your inner zebra….Zebras are known for being social animals so this is a party costume. Mingle with all the party guests and make sure to throw in the occasional bit of whinnying in your conversations.

9. Festival Girl

Get the Look:
Tribal Fringe Crop Top
Nikibiki Bandeau
Purple Aviators
Etienne Marcel Dip Dye Ombre Shorts
• Flower Crown (Here’s a great DIY Tutorial)

How to Commit to the Costume:
To really set yourself apart from people thinking your a hippie, pull off the festival girl costume by endlessly talking about music & obscure bands. If you’re unsure of the attitude you want, think “hippie meets hipster”.

10. Daisy Duke

Get the Look:
Classic Plaid Shirt
High-Waisted Distressed Denim Shorts
Red Strappy Heeled Sandals

How to Commit to the Costume:
This is a pretty iconic costume like some the Breakfast at Tiffany’s & Flashdance costumes in the Part 1 post. You can as a southern accent that’s as thick as molasses and mention and name drop your “cousins” Bo, Luke, Coy, and Vance.

11. Cookie Butter

Get the Look:
Nikibiki 3/4 Crop Leggings in Suntan
Nikibiki Ribbed Racer Back Tank in Suntan
Metallic Gold Baseball Cap
Nude Pumps

How to Commit to the Costume:
The key to really letting people know what you are with this costume is to print out an image of the Cookie Butter Label and pin it to the front of your shirt. It will be VERY clear what you are then…I’d recommend making everyone’s night by carrying around a jar of cookie butter and a bag of plastic spoons and giving out spoonfuls of this deliciously addictive treat!

12. Camo Girl

Get the Look:
Camouflage Leggings
Camouflage Racerback Tank Top
Camouflage Jacket

How to Commit to the Costume:
Try out some amazing camouflage face painting as seen above. If you’re ANYWHERE that has a tree or plant stand in front, behind, or next to it and repeatedly ask people if they can see you. Anything that is remotely the same color as your costume requires “testing” your camouflage gear.
