Friday Favorites: Wedding Edition!

Happy Friday y’all! It’s been chaotic over here with wedding planning coming to a close. By this time next week, I’ll be getting married!!! In celebration of all things wedding, this week favorites will be my favorite wedding pins for inspiration.

Favorite Bridal Hair: Elsa from Frozen

Who doesn’t love Elsa’s hair? It’s pretty iconic already and perfect to slip into your wedding without anyone thinking you’re “in costume”. It looks romantic and fun at the same time. I love me some side braid!

Favorite Wedding Dessert: Naked Cakes

Although we’re not doing cake. I can’t help but swoon over these. I hardly ever want frosting and most cakes are drowning in it. I think naked cakes “take the cake” if you will, for an eclectic wedding. They even more appetizing to me than the fancy towers of fondant, don’t you agree?

Favorite Wedding Guest: The Dog

We are wrestling with the idea of including our dog Zelda in our ceremony. She means the world to us but she also gets a little stressed out by a lot of people, so I think we are going to keep her home where she’s happy. BUT, I’m in love with this shot and I’m determined to get something like this after I get ready and before we head out to the venue!

Favorite Groomsmen Attire: Mix and Match

It was important to us to let our friends be themselves. My girls all got to pick their own dresses with just a couple colors to pick from. For the guys, we wanted the same. No boxy tuxes here! This picture was our inspiration for the guys.

Favorite Wedding Venue: Wildwood Acres, Lafayette Ca

We searched high and low for a venue that was outdoor and kid friendly (most had pools). The minute we walked up to Wildwood, we knew. Every time I visit, it takes my breath away. And of course, has lots and lots of twinkly lights!

Favorite Wedding Decor: Streamers and flowers

Our wedding is all about COLOR with splashes of gold. Streamers are easy and tissue paper flowers add drama and whimsy. I hope my setup looks as pinteresting as this one!
