Happy Tuesday lovelies! Today I’m here to talk about nom noms! I’m always on the look out for recipes that use lesser known ingredients. My ingredient crush right now, is lavender! You all know and I’m sure love the smell. But have you ever thought of eating it? It’s good for you, I promise! As with essential oils, lavender is calming for anxiety, depression, headaches and digestive health. Sounds pretty relaxing to me! So let’s take a look at 5 recipes that I can’t wait to try using lavender.

Lemonade is a summer staple, coconut water is all the rage. Now add lavender and you’ve got the ULTIMATE relaxing summer drink! Add a splash of rum if you want to add an adult twist to the mix! I can’t wait to drink this poolside on a hot day!

It might be obvious now, but lemon and lavender go SO well together! Add a little tangy greek yogurt and you’ve got a pound cake that is simple DELICIOUS! I mean, just look at that picture, I’m drooling already! This would definitely impress your friends at a summer gathering. And its so easy to make!

This might be a little contradicting of the relaxing flower mixed with coffee, but honestly, this is my favorite recipe of all 5. I want it, NOW! Takes a bit more work but I bet the pay off is yummy! Plus, any extra lavender can be made into some cookies to go with this to die for drink!
